Term3 week5
Monday: So Mr Chua was not in a good mood that day because some of my classmates pissed him off. As usual there would be bunch of people who have not handed in their homework on the lit tray on time as what Mr chua had told us before. This is because some of them went for CCA camp and some of them forgotten to put in the tray. So Mr chua spent about 10 minutes scolding them which wasted our lesson time. After scolding them Mr chua went through with us about the Play of EOY exam. So Mr chua went through about the role. I am holding the role as a stage manager. So i have a lot of work to do for the play. So after that mr chua gave us back the worksheet on the different types of role in acting. I got only 15 out of 20. That means i have know more about the role and understand them better. After that mr chua also showed us a video on the last year batch literature students acted out the Romeo and Juliet scene and Merchant of Venice scene. I think the Romeo and Juleit scene was quite boring as they didn't act out their acting with feelings properly same goes to the MOV scene. Their costumes were also very attractuve and nice as they rented the costumes according to Mr chua. This year, we must do our costumes all by ourselves as Mr Chua wanted to grade us for our creativity. I hope my group will perform better than the students last year same goes to all the other groups. To Bravo, Charlie and Delta GOOD LUCK!!
Thursday: So we learnt about elvis prsley in Scene 3. This time is Older Presley in the house!! LoL! ok so we learnt the part where he talked with Redhead, his girlfriend during that time. We discussed about Elvis prelsey felt very pain in his heart. He felt so sad about his mother death 19 years ago when he wasn't there to comfort his mother. During that time he was at the US army performing. Not being at his beloved mother funeral brought a great impact on him. He felt really sad until he decided to take drugs. Earlier in the scene, it mention that Redhead was trying to stop Elvis from taking anymore drugs. According to Elvis when he took drugs he felt so high that he could forget all his sorrowness and pains in his life. He couldn't stop missing his mother and his twin brother, Jesse. It shows that he really love them so much. In the scene also, Redhead was trying to comfort Elvis. It shows that Redhead is a good girlfriend. if i were Elvis presley, i will also feel very sad as i couldn't be with the one i love before they die. So next monday we will continue discussing about Elvis presley with Mr chua.
